Jason Statham Filming 1986 Remake Film “Heat” in Las Vegas!

Jason Statham and Michael Angarano

Jason Statham has been filming scenes for his upcoming film “Heat” in Las Vegas, and I’ve got the first screen-cap!

Jason has been seen filming driving scenes around downtown Las Vegas and inside Casinos on the Las Vegas strip. Today Jason was seen with co-star Michael Angarano filming scenes inside the Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino.

Many fans walked through the movie set during the filming today, but when most people saw Jason they quickly stopped as who doesn’t know “The Transporter Guy”!

“Heat” is a remake of the 1986 film scripted by multiple Oscar-winner William Goldman (Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid, The Princess Bride), based on his original novel.

Former “Heroes” star, Milo Ventimiglia, recently signed on to play to play a character named Danny DeMarco. Milo is also currently in the vampire indie “Kiss of the Damned” and the upcoming “Grown Ups 2” and “Grace of Monaco.”

Other stars in the upcoming “Heat” film include Anne Heche, Hope Davis, Stanley Tucci, Cedric the Entertainer, and Sofia Vergara of “Modern Family.”

I personally haven’t seen the original, but it will be very interesting to compare and contrast this one and the ’86 original. “Heat” is scheduled to be released sometime next year (2014).
