Britney Spears was presented with the Key to the City of Las Vegas last night (Nov. 5th) by Clark County Commission Chairman Steve Sisolak, who also officially proclaimed November 5th in Las Vegas ‘Britney Day’!
Also during the big celebration Britney announced new show dates for her hugely successful Las Vegas show ‘Britney: Piece of Me’ at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino. Tickets to the NEW show dates go on sale to the public on Saturday, November 8th and can be purchased at BritneySpears.com.
Britney fans crowded The LINQ Promenade Fountain stage where some fans arrived as early as 6AM to see the ‘Baby One More Time’ pop star. Waiting nearly twelve hours, fans truly enjoined the celebration in true Vegas fashion with authentic Las Vegas showgirls and shirtless male dancers.
Giving back Britney also announced her partnership with Zappos and the Nevada Childhood Cancer Foundation, where $1 of every ticket purchased to ‘Britney: Piece of Me’ at will be donated to the NCCF.
The NCCF is a local non-profit organization providing services in Southern Nevada since 1993, whose goal is to improve the quality of life for critically ill children and their families living in the community.
